Working principle of plastic profile extruder

The extrusion method of plastic extruder generally refers to the melting of plastic at a high temperature of about 200 degrees, and the melted plastic forms the required shape when passing through the mold. Extrusion molding requires a deep understanding of plastic characteristics and rich experience in mold design, and is a molding method with high technical requirements.

Extrusion molding is the method of making the material flow through the mouth mold continuously by heating and pressurizing in the extruder, also known as "extrusion". Compared with other molding methods, it has the advantages of high efficiency and low unit cost.

The extrusion method is mainly used for the molding of thermoplastics and can also be used for some thermosetting plastics. Extruded products are continuous profiles, such as tubes, rods, wires, plates, films, wire and cable cladding. In addition, it can also be used for plastic mixing, plasticizing granulation, coloring, blending and so on.

Extruded products can be called "profiles", because the cross-section shape is mostly irregular, so it is also called "profile".
