The steps to replace the screw of the extruder are as follows:
1. Stop and power off
- First stop the operation of the extruder and cut off the power supply to ensure that the equipment is completely stopped and without power.
2. Remove the front end components of the barrel
- Remove the head, flange and other components connected to the front end of the barrel so that the screw can be removed.
3. Loosen the screw fixing device
- Find the nuts, bolts or other fixings that fix the screw and loosen them.
4. Pull out the old screw
- Use appropriate tools to carefully pull the old screw out of the barrel. During the extraction process, be careful to avoid damaging the inner wall of the barrel.
5. Clean the barrel
- After removing the screw, thoroughly clean the inside of the barrel to remove residual materials and dirt.
6. Install the new screw
- Carefully insert the new screw into the barrel, ensuring that the screw is installed in the correct direction and position.
7. Fastening the fixing device
- Reinstall and tighten the fixings of the screw to firmly fix it in the barrel.
8. Install the front end parts of the barrel
- Reinstall the previously disassembled head, flange and other parts back to the front end of the barrel.
9. Debugging and inspection
- Turn on the power, start the extruder for preliminary debugging, check whether the screw is running normally, and whether there are any abnormal noises, vibrations, etc. At the same time, check the quality of the extruded product to ensure that the extrusion effect after replacing the screw meets the requirements.
