FAQ

After the rubber extruder cylinder is installed, what debugging work needs to be done?

2024-07-10

After the rubber extruder cylinder is installed, the following debugging work is usually required:

1. Temperature debugging

Set the target temperature of different heating areas, and observe the heating rate and temperature stability of the heating system.

Check the response speed and cooling effect of the cooling system to ensure that the temperature can be accurately controlled within the set range.

2. Speed adjustment

Gradually increase the speed of the screw, check the cooperation between the barrel and the screw, whether there is abnormal friction or stuck.

Observe the load of the motor at different speeds to ensure that it is within the normal range.

3. Pressure adjustment

Apply a certain extrusion pressure to check the sealing performance of the cylinder and whether there is leakage.

Monitor pressure sensor readings to verify the accuracy of pressure control.

4. Extrusion debugging

Carry out trial production, adjust the process parameters, observe whether the extrusion volume meets the design requirements.

Check the shape, size and surface quality of the extruded product to evaluate the extrusion effect.

5. Noise and vibration debugging

Run the equipment, listen for abnormal noise, and determine whether there is improper component installation or abnormal friction.

Feel the vibration of the device. If there is too much vibration, check whether the installation is balanced or whether any part is loose.

6. Electrical system debugging

Check the functions of the electrical control system, such as start-stop operation, speed regulation, temperature control, etc., are accurate and reliable.

7. Safety protection device debugging

Test safety facilities such as emergency stop buttons and overload protection devices to ensure timely response in abnormal situations.

For example, if insufficient extrusion is found during commissioning, it may be necessary to further check whether the clearance between the screw and the barrel is appropriate, or to adjust the heating temperature to improve the flow of the rubber.
