What are the types of wood-plastic embossing machines

2024-08-23

According to the way of embossing classification

1. Mechanical embossing machine

Working principle: The embossing roller is in contact with the wood-plastic material under certain pressure, and the pattern on the roller is imprinted on the surface of the material.

Features: Relatively simple structure, low cost, suitable for some embossing precision requirements are not high products. The embossing effect is more traditional, allowing basic textures and patterns to be achieved. For example, simple wood grain, stone grain and other effects can be pressed.

2. Hot flower press

Working principle: Using a heated embossing roller to embossed wood plastic materials, the surface of the material is softened by high temperature, so that it is easier to accept the embossing of the pattern.

Features: You can get a clearer, more firm embossing effect, especially suitable for harder wood plastic materials. Due to the effect of heating, the pattern can be better integrated with the material, improving the durability of the product. However, the equipment cost is relatively high and requires a certain preheating time.

3.Hydraulic embossing machine

Working principle: Strong pressure is provided by the hydraulic system to make the embossing roller embossing wood plastic materials.

Features: The pressure is uniform and stable, and the pattern with large depth and strong three-dimensional sense can be pressed. Suitable for high quality embossing products. However, the equipment is large and the maintenance cost is high.

According to the number of embossing roller classification

1. Single roll embossing machine

Working principle: There is only one embossing roller, which realizes embossing through contact with the material.

Features: Simple structure, easy operation, suitable for small-scale production or for embossing pattern requirements are not complicated. However, the embossing efficiency is relatively low, and only one side can be embossed at a time.

2. Double roller embossing machine

Working principle: There are two embossing rollers, the material passes between the two rollers, and embossing is performed on both sides at the same time.

Features: High embossing efficiency, can complete the embossing work on both sides at the same time, so that the appearance of the product is more beautiful. However, the equipment adjustment is relatively complex, and it is necessary to ensure the synchronization and pressure uniformity of the two rollers.

3. Multi-roll embossing machine

Working principle: It is composed of multiple embossing rollers, which can realize continuous embossing and improve production efficiency.

Features: Suitable for mass production, can achieve complex pattern and high-precision embossing effect. However, the equipment cost is high, the footprint is large, and the technical requirements for operation and maintenance personnel are also high.

Classification by degree of automation

1. Manual embossing machine

Working principle: Completely rely on manual operation, by manually controlling the pressure and movement of the embossing roller to carry out embossing operation.

Features: Low cost, suitable for small batch production or sample production. The operation is flexible, but the labor intensity is high, and the embossing accuracy and efficiency are low.

2. Semi-automatic embossing machine

Working principle: Part of the operation is automatically completed by the machine, such as the lifting of the embosor roller, pressure adjustment, etc., but it still needs manual material loading and unloading and positioning.

Features: Compared with manual embossing machine, it improves the production efficiency and embossing accuracy to a certain extent, and reduces the labor intensity. However, manual intervention is still required and production cannot be fully automated.

3. Automatic embossing machine

Working principle: Through the automatic control system, the whole process of automatic conveying, positioning, embossing and collection of materials is realized.

Features: High production efficiency, stable embossing accuracy, greatly reducing labor intensity. Suitable for large-scale, efficient production needs. However, the equipment investment is large, and the technical level of the operator is also high.
